Hi classmates :)
I have attached our restaurant survey below. IT works for me, but let me know if it does not work for you. It is my first time using Google forms so I tried my best! Please complete our survey and help us improve the grand opening of our restaurant featuring our free smart phone application.
Survey -
Taste of Asia Cafe - Opening SOON on CSU Fullerton Campus
Thank you! - Lisa Le
I think your survey needs an answer choice of none or never because I rarely buy anything to eat while I am here. I think it would better your results and show you a better indication of your target market.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I was in campus, I did not shop at school. So I think you should put "none" on some questions.
ReplyDeleteYou can put options in the survey, such as 2 days per week, couple times per month, or never. It will make us easier to answer the question!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the comments above. I think it would be useful to know how many students are not eating on campus as well to give you an idea if they will be interested when you open up your restaurant. Some students/staff don't eat on campus simply because they don't have the time or they're only on campus for a short amount of time. Others prefer to bring their own food or eat somewhere else outside of campus. I rarely eat on campus myself, but with your group's restaurant opening up, that might change :)
ReplyDeleteyes, if there was a option of none or never in your survey, that wouldve been my answer. however, if there become more options to choose, ibe willing to buy a full meal. I dont really like the most of foods at csuf or i got sick of them.
ReplyDeleteHi! I agree with everyone that you should put a "none" option. I actually never eat on school campus (probably twice during finals). I'm not sure if opening this restaurant ON campus is a good idea, but maybe in the same area as CSUF...like across the street? That way other people who don't go to CSUF can have a taste too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting your survey. I normally do not eat on campus but mainly because of the limited options. There are times when I need to be on campus late and it would be nice to know I have another choice, such as "Taste of Asia Cafe." The ability to utilize an app to order food would save me time that I could otherwise use studying. I will be interested in hearing how your marketing plan progresses.
ReplyDeleteI do not always eat on campus, but when I do there aren't many options. I am wondering how you are going to deal with the popular competitor, Panda Express. During lunch time, I see long lines in the TSU mostly for Panda Express. Although the "Taste of Asia Cafe" serves other Asian dishes, I feel like since the name is not known and people do not know what to expect, it may not do as well. Maybe a good way to combat this is to have period where free samples are given or something to give students and faculty an idea of what they can expect from this cafe.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of being able to pre-oder. Sometimes i only get 15 min break between classes and that won't allow any waiting in line.
ReplyDeleteThe survey is pretty good but I left question number 2 blank since I sometimes eat lunch off campus which wasn't an option in the question.
Also, if possible I think having Boba drinks in campus would be a big selling point. Btw, "Taste of Asia Cafe" is a great name :)
I really like the idea of integrating smartphone app with your restaurants! I am always frustrated when eating not only on campus but also other restaurants outside the campus because of a long line and long waiting time!
ReplyDeleteThank all for participating in the survey. For the first weeks, the restaurant is going to give free examples of food. We might consider to serve Boba drinks.
